The Honda ADV 160 is an adventure-style scooter: tall riding position, extra ground clearance, larger wheels and front protection. It copes with broken roads, gravel and steep climbs to viewpoints where an ordinary scooter would scrape its underside.
With the big 8.1 L tank and a comfortable seat the ADV is a great choice for long routes: a loop around the island in a day, rides to Phang Nga Bay or to the far northern beaches. The windscreen and tall handlebar give an upright, relaxed position and excellent road visibility.

The ADV 160 is taller and sturdier than an ordinary scooter: a 795 mm seat, bigger wheels and real ground clearance. It is a pleasure when the road to a beach is rough, with potholes and dirt stretches, and it also looks more at ease on long routes around the island.
The 8.1 L tank gives a good range and the 134 kg feels stable. A shorter rider will have to reach for the ground at junctions, so try the seat before renting.
